OKADA RIDERS' STRIKE IN ABEOKUTA

Commercial motorcycle (Okada) riders, specifically Hausas and Aboki Olokada riders, have gone on a 2-day strike in Abeokuta and surrounding areas.

The strike is in response to an increase in Okada ticket prices imposed by the Okada Union.

This strike has caused hardship for transportation systems, scarcity of Okada in cities, potential disruption to daily life, particularly with schools resuming next week
