Job Summary

Your responsibilities include the Provision of Financial information.Data entry/posting of Transactions, Preparing Reports/Returns, Reconciliation of accounts, Payroll management, Preparing payment for contractors, Complying with Federal, State and Local Govt. levies and tax, Keeping Financial Information confidential, Following up with Transaction at the Banks and ensuring that they are treated, Attending educational workshops and seminars/trainings organised by ABCON/CBN and also reviewing circulars by CBN and ABCON, Preparing Time-Sensitive Reports for various organisations

  • Minimum Qualification : HND
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconciling company accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other external accounts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitoring actual results against these plans.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing the company's accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Payroll Processing: Overseeing payroll processing, including ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
  • Internal Controls: Maintaining and evaluating internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Financial Reporting: Providing financial reports to management and other stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Special Projects: Assisting with special projects, such as financial modeling, cost savings initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Audits and Reviews: Assisting with external audits and reviews, and implementing recommendations from these processes.
  • Financial Planning and Advice: Providing financial guidance and advice to management and other departments within the organization.
  • Note: Specific duties may vary depending on the needs of the company.

 

Requirements:

  • Completion of the NYSC program
  • B.Sc. or HND in any field
  • Professional Qualification - A recognized and relevant professional qualification(s) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience

 

Location: On-site, Lagos, Nigeria

Remuneration: NGN 180,000 - 220,000
