Job Summary
The Procurement Specialist will oversee all purchasing activities including sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, and order processing. The primary goal is to ensure the organization’s needs are procured while minimizing costs and maximizing value.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilites:
- Develop, manage, and update a reliable supplier database tailored to hotel needs.
- Identify, evaluate, source, and procure materials and services needed in line with quality and budgetary standards.
- Lead vendor negotiations and ensure optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with internal controls and professional standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across all departments, including kitchen and housekeeping, by forecasting demand accurately, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing waste to ensure operational efficiency
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and contract execution.
- Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and non-compliance
- Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, open-market vendors, and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and service consistency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improved procurement efficiency.
- Support audits and provide procurement documentation and records as required.
- Provide reports that guide management in making quality procurement decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be chartered (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) – required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of open-market procurement dynamics, supplier sourcing, and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Must be well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling vendor relationships and financial matters.
