If we flow into purity, we become pure; if we flow into corruption, we become corrupt. All learning happens through interaction. Just by being around people — listening, watching, and engaging — we absorb what they carry. Study itself is interaction: stay with the knowledgeable, listen to them, read their words, observe their ways, move with them, and soon you begin to think and act like them. If they are blue and you mix with them, you become blue. You are the color of everyone you’ve mixed with — a rainbow made from every soul you’ve interacted with. The people you spend the most time with become your brightest colors, while your parents gave you your primary shade. Every conversation, every influence, every encounter adds a tint to who you are. When you go to a place, you’ll notice that the people there share a certain color — not of skin, but of spirit and influence. In one place, they are mostly green; in another, mostly yellow. Somewhere else, blue. Some environments are bright and warm like orange, others are completely dark, and some burn red. Every community has its own shade — a dominant tone shaped by shared habits, beliefs, and energies. Everyone within that space contributes to that collective color. In every organization, there is a dominant shade — a collective color formed by its culture. The way people think, speak, and act within that space slowly blends into one hue. The stronger the culture, the more unified the color. When you join such an environment, no matter your original shade, over time you begin to take on theirs. In every environment, the influential ones pour out their colors and paint others. Their tone becomes the standard shade of the place. Whether bright or dark, calm or chaotic, their energy spreads until everyone around begins to reflect it. Influence is the act of coloring others. So, choose your environment with wisdom — for your surroundings are not just around you; they become you.
