As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites. You will work closely with our development and marketing teams to create web experiences that are both visually stunning and functionally efficient. Minimum Qualification : Degree Experience Level : Entry level Experience Length : 1 year Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities: Design and create visually appealing websites and web applications with a focus on user experience (UX). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and deliver effective solutions. Translate wireframes and mockups into fully functional web pages, ensuring that they are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes. Maintain and update websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, error-free, and optimized for performance. Create and manage graphic elements, icons, and images for websites. Stay up-to-date with current design trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and development. Ensure designs are consistent with the brand’s identity and vision. Optimize websites for SEO best practices and loading speed. Test websites across browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance and usability. Collaborate with front-end developers to implement designs and resolve any design and functionality-related issues. Requirements: Experience with UX/UI design. Knowledge of animation tools or front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js. Experience in creating prototypes or wireframes. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. 1-2 years of proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio of web design projects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of web development frameworks is a plus. Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. A degree/Diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
