Men are nice people

My shoe broke on my way to work today, and you know how dirty Mushin bus stop can be.

I had to hold the shoe in my hand while I walked barefoot 😫😫😫 hoping I’d find a shoemaker or somewhere to get a replacement.

This man saw me. He was driving his maruwa and kept shouting, “Hey sister, hey sister!”

I don’t usually answer that kind of call, but I sha turned as a damsel in distress 😂

He muttered something I didn’t hear. I gave him a blank stare in return and continued walking.

The man didn’t take offence. He drove beside me and said he had superglue, that I should enter while he parked at his designated place.

I sha entered. This man took my shoe in his bare hands and fixed it for me.

He didn’t have to do any of that, but he did, and that’s kindness. ❤️

That man probably forgot about it the moment I left, but it meant so much to me.

You never really know how much difference your small act of kindness can make in someone’s day. So, be kind, even when it costs nothing or something 😁
