What colour fits you more?

I have noticed that some people don't go for the colour that fits them, instead they go for their favourite colour, which are two different things entirely. Your favourite colour is read so you buy the red colour of most of your apparels. Your heels, stockings, sneakers,, lipsticks, dresses, all red because you like the colour. Whereas, you look like Winnie the Pooh in red blouses or your feet looks 'wonderful' in red shoes. 

Having a favourite colour does not mean the colour fits everything you should have, thank you.
