Beware of fake and poisonous cow skin(Pomo)

This is going to be a problematic discuss because i know not everyone will agree with me mana, hia we go.

You see this two pictures of ponmo, they are not the same maka chi.

The first is cow skin, from a cow.

I took pictures of it at the slaughter this morning.

It is not malleable until you cook it...i use my pressure pot so it doesn't consume gas.

It is very healthy and tastes well...this particular ponmo is from the waist, e too sweet.

This ponmo is also very neat.

It is not preserved with anything as the cow was freshly butchered, just this morning.

This ponmo isn't cheap at all.

This one I'm holding is 15k with abeg.

This is what i use for customers.

Now let's go to the second picture.

The second isn't cow skin...it is ponmo yes but i do not know what it is or the animal it was gotten from.

It is the type we usually see in our markets, soaked in murky water. I only know that they are imported ponmo.

The ponmo in the second picture is not healthy, in any way. They are preserved and soaked in chemicals to make them swell up...puffiness is good for business.

People have allegedly said, they use chemicals used in preserving corpses, to preserve and give them a longer shelf life.

This type of ponmo, if you pass where it is sold in the market, you would pinch your nose.

It smells so bad that it heets you long after you must have left the place.

They are extremely malleable, even brittle and would break apart when held...sometimes they are held with rubber bands so they don't fall apart.

If you open it up, you'd see they are so slimy and soft, sometimes, discosting. You don't even need to cook it for long.

Just drop into your stew or soup, heat it up and you're good to go.

This ponmo, when you use it to cook, your food smells like it...the smell is pungent especially if it has been soaked for so long before being sold.

This ponmo is extremely cheap!

Here in Asaba, if you buy the one of tukay, your pot go full.

You will even see a big one for N500 that you will cut into 10 pieces! You can even see N200 own.

Trust me, you can't even buy cow skin of N500.

You cannot buy cow skin of the same size for that amount.

So many illnesses are on the rise of late.

Heart failure, kidney disease, liver problems, gut problems, skin issues...let us be very careful of the things, we consume.

Lastly, i just pray God helps us, provides for us so we see money to buy and eat healthy meals.

Make person no go dey consume wetin go cause wahala for am.
