President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja today for a short working visit to Paris, France.

In a statement, Bayo Onanuga, the president's special adviser on information and strategy, said Tinubu will use the visit to review his administration's midterm achievements and assess key milestones.

According to Onanuga, the president will reflect on ongoing reforms, engage in strategic planning ahead of his second anniversary, and refine plans to accelerate national development.

He also highlighted recent economic progress, citing the Central Bank of Nigeria's report that net foreign exchange reserves have risen to $23.11 billion, a significant jump from $3.99 billion in 2023.

Despite being away, Tinubu will stay fully engaged with governance and his cabinet. He is expected to return in about two weeks.
