Parents Accuse Ogun School of Unauthorized Incisions on Children's Bodies

Some parents in the Arepo area of Ogun State have accused a private school of making unauthorized incisions on their children's bodies, allegedly leading to health complications.

Two parents, Abosede and Oluwatoyin Adurogboye, raised the alarm after noticing strange marks on their children's bodies. They claim the school is responsible, though the proprietress has denied any wrongdoing.

Mother Discovers Incision on Son's Stomach

Abosede, the mother of a four-year-old boy named Alamis, said she discovered an incision on her son's stomach on March 2 after he complained of persistent itching. Three weeks later, he fell ill and was diagnosed with an infection linked to the incision.

"When I checked, I saw an incision on his body. When I asked what happened, he said he didn't know who did it. It looked like he was asleep when it was done because the marks were not straight," she said.

Her concerns deepened when another parent reported a similar mark on her child's body.

Another Parent's Child Falls Ill, Placed on Oxygen

Oluwatoyin Adurogboye, whose three-year-old daughter Karla attends the same school, noticed unusual behavior when she picked her up on February 28. The child slept unusually long and later developed a high fever, cough, and vomiting.

She was initially treated at home, but when her condition worsened, she was rushed to the hospital and placed on oxygen due to breathing difficulties.

School Denies Allegations, Parents Demand Investigation

The parents confronted the school's proprietress, who denied any knowledge of the incidents and suggested the marks could have come from elsewhere.
