TRAFFIC UPDATE

A serious crash has been reported at the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, specifically at the Nasfat turning, inbound Lagos, within the Obafemi-Owode Local Government area of Ogun State.

Vehicles Involved:

1. Mazda bus (MUS 814XY)
2. Mack Truck (FST 483 YX)

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Mazda bus was excessively speeding and impatient, which led to the vehicle ramming into the Mack truck that was making a U-turn at the intersection.

Number of occupants: 12 (3 adult males and 9 adult females)

Number of injured: 4 (3 males, 1 female)

Number of fatalities: 0

TRACE, FRSC, and POLICE personnel were on the scene monitoring the traffic situation while the accidented vehicles were towed by Ibafo Police for further investigation.

The injured victims were transported to Famobis Hospital at Lotto by good Samaritans.

Traffic was affected, but normalcy was later restored thanks to the efforts of TRACE, POLICE, and FRSC.
