Federal Govt begins building of solar-powered electric charging station at UNILORIN

The Federal Government has commenced the construction of a solar-powered electric charging station at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN). A delegation from the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), led by Ogunmola Oloruntola, visited the university to introduce the contractor and consultant for the project. Oloruntola assured the university of the teams commitment to its successful execution, emphasizing that the station will serve as a model for similar projects nationwide. UNILORIN's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole (SAN), praised the government's efforts to promote zero-emission transportation through electric vehicle adoption.
