Eligibility requirements for JAMB Direct Entry (DE) 2025/2026.

JAMB has specified the requirements for candidates applying for Direct Entry admission. According to the board, only applicants with Advanced Level (A-Level) qualifications will be eligible. These include IJMB, JUPEB, Cambridge A-Level, NCE, OND, HND, and other recognized certificates.

Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings. The O’Level results must be obtained from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be eligible for Direct Entry registration.

       Furthermore, JAMB has made it mandatory for all candidates to have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) for registration. The board stressed that no candidate will be registered without a valid NIN and urged applicants to complete their NIN enrollment before starting the registration process.
