JAMB Commences Accreditation of Centres for 2025 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun the accreditation process for Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres ahead of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This is a crucial step in preparation for the upcoming examination.

Key Details:

  • New CBT Centres: Interested centres should first review the requirements via https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Pdfs/CBT_centre_requirements.pdf. Afterward, they should submit a written notification of interest to the Registrar through the Zonal Director or State Coordinator in their state.

  • Existing CBT Centres: Centres that were accredited and participated in the 2024 UTME without issues should register their interest via the Centre Management System (CMS) Portal.

Accreditation Process:

  1. Zonal and State Offices will create CMS Portal accounts for new centres.

  2. All centres must undergo the mandatory Autobot/Autotest before a physical accreditation visit.

  3. Only centres that pass the Autobot/Autotest will be scheduled for a physical accreditation in December 2024.

  4. Centres meeting all requirements will be approved for the 2025 UTME registration and examination.

Important: Centres that fail the Autobot/Autotest will not be revisited.
